About me…
Hi, I’m Natalia Renteria Mosquera, a Floortime-infomed SEIT, Developmental Play Specialist, and Case Coordinator. I offering individualized, play-based support that helps children feel safe, seen, and connected — while supporting the adults and community around them so care feels consistent and aligned.
With over 11 years of experience across public schools and private schools, I’ve worked as a classroom teacher, SEIT, social skills provider and family support specialist. One of my strengths is bringing teams together, teachers, therapist, caregivers, families and create a shared plan that truly meets the child where they Floortime-infomed.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported, and that play is one of the most powerful tools we have to build connection and confidence.
Through my work, I’ve stayed grounded in one belief:
“A child’s brain - How they think, feel, and make sense of the world, is the most beautiful thing we get to witness.”
My approach is rooted in the DRI/Floor-time model and centers on connections, co-regulation, and supporting each child as a person not just their behavior. I meet children where they are and use play as a tool to build trust, flexibility, emotional growth, and confidence.
I support children and families through:
1:1 play-based sessions
Case Coordination & Family support
Creating tools that promote connection, regulation, and smoother daily routines
As a neurodiversity-affirming, immigrant educator, I bring a lens that honors identity, difference, and the ways children grow and express themselves. My goal is not to “fix” anyone it’s to build trust, spark joy, and help each child feel safe to be fully themselves.
My Services
Support That Meets Your Child Where They Are
Private SEIT Support
For families seeking individualized support, I work 1:1 with your child at school or at home. My focus is on helping your child build skills across all areas of Functional Emotional Development (FEDCs) while strengthening confidence, communication, flexibility, academics, and social-emotional growth.
Rooted in the Floor-time approach, my work centers connection. I support your child in feeling understood and safe, and I collaborate closely with families and school teams so your child can grow with consistency, clarity, and pride in their progress.
Case coordination & Family Support
Every child’s support team looks different. Some families work with schools, therapists, and specialists; others simply need help bringing all the pieces together. As a case coordinator, I help create clarity and connection between everyone involved in your child’s care.
I facilitate communication, align strategies between home and school, and support shared goals across all areas of development. My role is to reduce overwhelm, make Floor-time easier, and ensure your child is met exactly where they are while your support team works together with consistency and purpose
Playdate Support
Playdates can be a meaningful way for children to connect with others on a gentle, intimate level but they can also feel unpredictable or overwhelming. These sessions offer warm, in-the-moment support to help your child engage, communicate, and feel successful during shared play.
We begin by building a 1:1 relationship through child-led play in the Floor-time of your home. Once trust is established, we can invite a peer, sibling, or friend to join. The focus is on practicing flexibility, communication, collaboration, and supporting your child’s Functional Emotional Developmental Capacities in a familiar, safe setting where they can grow at their own pace.
Tools & Collaboration
It truly takes a village and I’m here to be part of yours. Together, we create tools that make everyday life feel more connected, predictable, and regulated for your child.
This may include building social stories for transitions like travel, birthdays, school changes, or new routines; designing visuals that support emotional understanding and flexible thinking; or planning inclusive celebrations and activities such as birthdays, holidays, or playdates so your child can feel confident, prepared, and included.
Whether you’re looking for SEIT support, play-based sessions, or collaboration, I’d love to hear from you. Share your child’s name, age, and what brings you here and I’ll follow up personally.
